What a fun month! I got way behind on the blog while we were spending time with lots of visitors and a week in the Outer Banks.
We spent a couple fun days with the Aho's at the beginning on August. They were staying at the Hilton so we went to the pool with them, played at our house, and went to the playground at the beach. The P was sad to see them go and asked when Miller would be "all done in North Carolina", so that he could live here. Sadly, I didn't get any pictures to capture the fun :(
The following week more friends came to visit. Jake and Abby were so cute and so much fun! We went to the Aquarium, Botanical Garden, and a couple evening visits to the beach. The P even had her first friend sleep over in her trundle bed. The first night it didn't work out so well, and after an hour of the two kids playing and talking we had to send Jake downstairs to sleep with his mom. The P was not happy about that and threw a fit! We tried again the next night and they were so tired, there was silence within 45 minutes :) It was great to spend time with them, and Ashley and Matthew, who came down from Williamsburg for the afternoon, too! Here is a glimpse of the chaos...

The next week we went down to the Outer Banks. The P had the time of her life! See more pictures and details in a separate post...
We were home for a few days, and then more visitors came! The Petti family stopped by on their way down to the Outer Banks. We had heard so much about Reagan and Stephen it was great to meet them in person. Of course The P loved Reagan since she is a "bigger girl" (i.e. she is almost 4).
The next day more friends came down from Arlington. The Kamber's, were spending a week at their timeshare a few blocks away. The P loves to hang out with Morgan and Olivia. We went to the Aquarium and Jungle Gym, ate dinner at the beach, swam in their hotel pool, and best of all...The P went to her very fist movie at the movie theater. They took her with them to see Ponyo. What a special treat! The Kambers are so much fun, we always love spending time with them.

And that takes us through to September. Whew!
