Under the Big Top

We took The P to the circus yesterday. It was lots of fun! They had an "all access pre-show", so we went an hour early to meet the clowns. The P was a little nervous at first. As we held hands and walked down to the arena floor her grip became tighter and tighter. By the time she saw the first clown she was up in my arms. After a few minutes she warmed up to it and even gave a clown a high five. We had great seats, right down the row from The P's friend Sophia. Of course they sell tons of circus paraphernalia and The P decided she just had to have "one of those things, for my hand". So GiGi couldn't resist and bought her a special wand. She held it tight throughout the show and was so excited when she was even allowed to take it home too! (Wow, for $22 they even let you keep the thing?!?!) We saw lots of clowns and acrobats and you can't forget the elephants and tigers! We all had a great time, and as an added bonus, The P took a super nap when she got home!
